Harrison
With a population of roughly 15,000 people, Harrison, NJ is just over 1.3 square miles and is a short distance from New York City. Harrison if full of wonderful parks with a number of playgrounds and facilities for outdoor recreation. The town is conveniently located to many major highways and public transportation options, allowing for fast commutes to New York. Route 7, Route 280 and the Garden State Parkway are also nearby.

The town is just eight miles west of New York City, 12 miles from Newark International Airport and centrally located to many roadways and transportation systems. In addition to countless shops and restaurants, Rutherford’s downtown area also features the Williams Center for the Arts, which contains three movie theaters and a 700-seat concert hall.
The Rutherford school district has traditionally been recognized for academic excellence. The town has the following schools: Lincoln, Sylvan and Washington Elementary Schools, Pierrepont or Union Middle Schools and Rutherford High School. Felician College also occupies a 10-acre campus site within the borough of Rutherford.
